Certitude works in partnership with multiple businesses, building relationships that support us, meet a range of corporate objectives and, in turn, enable people to lead good lives.
We would like to say an enormous thank you to the companies, churches and community groups that support our work through donations, volunteering and fundraising. We rely upon these relationships to achieve all the wonderful things we do, and it wouldn’t be possible without each and every one of you.
Our corporate packages:
- have been developed to maximise exposure of activities with all sponsors.
- can be tailored to suit the benefits and budget you require.
- include promotional and branding opportunities, alongside internal marketing.
If you would like to know more about becoming a Certitude Corporate Partner please email us on email@example.com or call 020 8772 6222. Thank you, and we look forward to hearing from you!
Here are just a few examples of our current partner stories and, below this, a few ideas as to how you, too, could get involved.
Certitude is delighted that Barclays have chosen to work with us on the development of numerous exciting projects across London, bringing the people we support in Hounslow and Greenford more control over their lives.
Hounslow House Manager, Kim Tuckwell, recognised that the people we support at the service currently find it difficult to access their garden and asked our fundraising team for help. In response, Barclays in Ealing and Hounslow kindly hosted pop-up stalls to raise awareness and collect funds for our project to build a sensory garden.
As well as accepting cash donations and giving out freshly potted daffodils, we used Barclays “Pingit” app to sell Christmas cards designed by those we support. We had a great time chatting to the staff and customers and raised over £200, which Barclays generously offered to match.
Barclays have also completed other sponsored challenges, like their London to Paris bike ride here. To date, a grand total of £2,130 has been donated via their JustGiving page and, unbelievably, they’re matching any donations made! We doff our cycling caps to everyone at Barclay’s Corporate South West London, a truly amazing bunch of people.
Throughout 2014-15, we will be working in partnership with Sainsbury’s in Balham. We were thrilled to be selected as their Local Charity Partner for this period and are looking to raise awareness and support for our projects in Wandsworth Borough.
Certitude and Sainsbury’s will deliver peer-led “Life Skills” presentations to young adults with learning disabilities in Wandsworth, something we have previously, and successfully, provided in Tower Hamlets. Sainsbury’s Local Charity Partner Scheme has been running since 2009 and, to date, has raised over £6 million for local charities.
Sainsbury’s Store Manager in Balham, John Stanton, said: “We’ve had a great response from our customers this year, both through in-store and online votes. We’re delighted to have chosen a charity which touched many of our colleagues’ hearts. We will now be working closely with the charity to ensure they really benefit from being our Local Charity for the next 12 months.”
KBR is a premiere engineering, procurement and construction company, working in over 70 countries, who also give back to the communities in which their employees live and work. They have recently made a generous donation to the Breakaway project in our Activity and Resource Centre.
Paul Close, Charity Committee Chair and Director of Procurement for Europe, Africa and the Middle East, added “We are very proud to support these superb initiatives in our local community. Dedication, hard work and thorough caring for all in the community is the right thing for us all.”
Sponsorship and Matched Funding
You could sponsor or match fund one of our non-statutory services, supporting us to continue delivering invaluable support to people. Alternatively you could offer pro-bono support. We will add your logo to all promotional material, invite you to get involved at events and highlight your support on our website.
As a corporate sponsor, your staff can volunteer both individually and in teams. For example, you could run fun events or workshops in our Activity and Resource centres or help people get back into work through mentoring and holding mock interviews.
You could involve your customers in supporting us; for example, asking whether they wish to add a pound to their bill in aid of Certitude or having a collection box in your reception area. Alternatively, you could donate a percentage of profits from one of your products.
Pay-as-you-Earn and Gifts in Kind
This is an easy way for your employees and customers to donate easily to us. We can offer advice to your HR and Finance teams on how to set these systems up.
We offer disability and mental health awareness training to our partners, tailored to suit their needs.
