We host a wide variety of events in our community; it’s great fun to keep our diary bursting at the seams! From club nights to 5-a-side, artsy photography to harmonious singing, there’s always something to attend and meet new people.
If any of the community events below catch your eye, get in touch with us via the contact details provided below; alternatively, you can contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 020 8772 6222.
Cut a Rug: Club Nights
People we support have often told us that they find it difficult to meet new people or start new friendships and relationships; they told us that they wanted somewhere to go out and make friends and, potentially, meet someone special. We listened, and now they help us deliver it.
Cut a Rug is our bi-monthly club night in Ealing and Brixton. It’s packed-out and the tunes are huge: a proper clubbing experience! We bring in DJs who play the finest R&B, house and chart music, plus live acts from across London and the South-East, and host them in amazing, accessible venues. From the DJ booth to security on the door, performing live and at our planning meetings, the people we support are fully engaged with the event.

Every other Thursday at 6pm, a group of staff and the people we support get together for a kickabout at Streatham Leisure Centre.
You only need to gaze across the sweaty, smiley faces after each session to see how brilliant an impact is has on everyone; we’re all keeping fit, building old and new friendships and enjoying our collective love of the beautiful game!

We are incredibly proud of our two Community Choirs in Brixton and Ealing. The Brixton Harmonies and The Inclusions in Ealing are free to join and rehearsals are made up of people we support, parents and carers, as well as local people with no original connection to Certitude. The choirs regularly perform a mixture of pop and classical hits at local event and concerts. Recently they have been performing at some very prestigious events: headlining National Award ceremonies, as well as festivals on the South Bank in London. Read about Cecelia’s love of being in the choir for some inspiration!
If you are interested in joining our choirs, you can contact email@example.com or call us on 020 8772 6222. If you would like to volunteer and help on choir evenings, please visit our Volunteer Current Vacancies page.
