Good luck to our community choir master!
Fingers crossed today for Edward Henderson, who will find out tonight if he has won a Pride in People Award. This prestigious awards recognises people who have made an outstanding contribution to the local community and Edward has been shortlisted for his work leading our community choir, “The Inclusions” which meets weekly at the ARC in Ealing.
George Venus attends the choir with his son Paul, who is supported by Certitude, nominated Edward praising natural empathy saying:
“The choir is a completely enjoyable and uplifting experience and lot’s of fun! Edward is a talented musician but he also has a wonderful empathy with everyone. Singing as a group is a great way to meet new friends and involve people with learning disabilities in their community. We only started last year but have already sung in front of a large audience and hope to perform more at public events in the future.
The winner of the award will be announced at a ceremony at The Pillars restaurant in Ealing tonight (Tuesday May 13th).
