Our Community Connecting event run by staff and peer supporters proved very popular

Certitude is committed to ensuring every individual we support becomes, or has access to, a peer supporter by 2016.  Peer supporters have lived experience and are able to share knowlege and experience, including those that staff may not have.  We are keen to grow our pool of volunteers with lived experience.

“Since volunteering at Certitude I have met a diverse range of people from all backgrounds and walks of life.  This has been a rich source of inspiration with exellent ways of developing my interpersonal skills and incredible networking opportunities that I know will help me to manage and develop lasting personal and professional relationships.”  Abraham Dover, Volunteer

As a Certitude volunteer or peer supporter you can expect excellent experience and good training opportunities including qualifications leading to national accreditation for demonstrated voluntary commitment.

Every year we also recognise a volunteer or peer supporter at our Michael Rosen Excellence Awards.

If you are interested in sharing your time, skills or resources for an hour or as a longer term commitment, please contact our team at volunteering@certitude.org.uk. Alternatively, please look through our current vacancies page.
