Disability march – the hardest hit

On 11 May,  Southside Partnership and Support for Living added their voices to the  thousands of disabled people marching through Westminster to make sure that disabled people had their voices heard on the plans to reform Disability Living Allowance and cuts to social care services.  “We are asking the government, to put a stop to these cuts – they are targeting the most vulnerable people who they think won’t fight back – but they are wrong! The proposed cuts are cruel and misguided.”  said Mary Schumm, Director of Learning Disablities at Certitude.”
